JENNICA
No, not Jessica, Jennifer, or even Jenna. My name is Jennica. Pleased to make your acquaintance!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been creating. From designing houses for my Barbies to sketching dance costumes for recitals, my mind was always busy dreaming up ways to make the world more visually pleasing and function a little more smoothly. Naturally, Graphic Design became the perfect career path to bring those ideas to life. I graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and a minor in Art.

Since then, my journey has woven together design, marketing, and operations. I began in the fast-paced world of newspaper publishing, moved into software marketing as a coordinator and designer, and later expanded my focus to event planning and operations at Hospice of Michigan. Most recently, I’ve been at the University of Michigan’s College of Engineering, where I combine my love of design and organization to support marketing, events, and storytelling for graduate programs. Along the way, I’ve also freelanced, giving me the chance to collaborate on creative projects big and small.

Through every role, one thread has stayed constant: I love solving problems creatively, whether that means designing something beautiful, coordinating an event that feels effortless, or finding the right words and visuals to connect with people.

When I’m not at my desk, you’ll find me enjoying short walks on the beach, playing with my dog, or traveling with Mr. Olive.
